Creative writing ideas?
By Planet Wealth
I have written the first part, and i would like some suggestions, as to how the rest might go.
Long long ago, there lived a poor merchant, who relied on his trade for a living.
One day the poor ancient merchant didn’t sell enough jade, and he could not support his family anymore.

Thats the thing when it comes to writing fiction, no boundaries. I wont give you direct suggestions but i want to give you some advice, Everything you reckon, you see, that has been done, don’t write that. Where your imagination, places you reckon you could ony go in your head, write that, take the merchant in that direction. Go for taboo topics, unacceptable not just by society, but by every standard of living, sometimes, you’ll even surprise yourself. Imagination has no boundaries, limits, than why should your characters have any?

He made a deal with a genie for piles of gold, but it came at a price.
He sold his children to a rich ancient lady, thinking that at least they would be well-fed, but she turned out to be a witch.
He signed onto a ship as a sailor, hoping to make his fortune, but his family fell deeper into poverty while he was away.
He invented a machine to help him polish jade quicker, but the machine went out of control.

Well, he could shoot through and delight in a walking holiday, or go to work for a magican, or stow away at sea. On second thoughs, he could place his family up for sale and ?
He could place his wife to work in a kitchen and one day she was exceptionally kind to a beggar who was the king in disguise.
He could place his kids out on the streets begging and someone could take pity on them and ?
Or the Government gave him a pension and he was better off than ever before.

Dejected, he made a statue of Buddha out of the unsold jade before shutting down the business. He went to an abandoned quartz quarry to get a base for the statue.
The first chiseling he made revealed a solid vein of gold!
The jade Buddha atop the quartz base now adorns the entrance to the his new mansion.
