Hi, I am not from Australia so I may not be able to tell you where to do this in Melbourne. But you can learn day trading online. There are many excellent online interactive course that you can search on google that come with money back guarantee that you can try and see if that course works for you or not. You can find top of the line training online. The best thing is you can take that training at your own pace.

Day trading maynot be suitable for everyone. It depends on your personality. What you need is first determine what are your aims with trading. How much you want to make in one month by trading stocks, currencies or whatever you choose. Then start part time. Don’t leave your job. The best thing that works is swing trading. Swing trading is a lot simpler than day trading. You can swing trade currencies at the end of the day by just trading not more than 30 minutes.

Once you master swing trading and start making money like $5,000 per month consistently for a few months, than you should reckon about quitting your job and taking up day trading. Day trading is a full time job! People do it successfully and make a lot of money. But just like any skill in life, you will need to learn it.

The best way to learn it is by practicing on your demo account. You can open a demo account in just five minutes online. Practice for a month or two. Learn and practice, this will give you the confidence. My suggestion is take swing trading first. You can do it any time of the day. In swing trading once you spot a trend in the market, you open a trade at the right time with a proper stop loss. After that you ride the trend till it lasts. It can last from a few days to a few weeks, so you don’t have to do a lot of monitoring.

I am not familiar with all of the programs available at the university, but you can go to http://linktodiversity.com/countries/Australia.html and look at some of the study abroad opportunities available in Australia…Swinburn University in Melbourne is one of the options available. Hopefully this helps somewhat.
