Is there a method of share trading which produces better results than others ?

By Planet Wealth

There are many approaches to share trading eg fundamental analysis, technical analysis, inclusion of stop losses. Which combination of methods produces the best results long term on the ASX or other.
There are many approaches to share trading eg fundamental analysis, technical analysis, inclusion of stop losses. Is there research data showing which combination of methods produces the best results long term on the ASX or other.
As the details above state, the question is whether there is research data to indicate the best combination of methods. Opinions and products being sold are nice, but the net is full of them. PLEASE restrict your answers to evidence-based research data. Thanks.

The reason why there are so many different approaches is that nobody can agree on which is best. If there was a ‘fool-proof’ better method, everybody would adopt it and all the others would disappear.
    therefore the answer is NO!

In my opinion, the most vital thing is to have a defined disciplined trading plot that includes sophisticated risk management techniques, including stop losses and money management. Technical analysis lends itself very well to this.

I have been actively trading stocks, options and futures since 1986. I have 129 e-books available on all facets of trading, including Futures, Options, Technical Analysis, Gann, Psychology, and Sentiment. These are some of the best trading books on the market. Email me for a full listing.
