I’ve been trading for about 5 years now, and successfully for 3. I started being profitable once I had a revelation on how to follow markets rather than predict where they are going. Once I had crystalised my thought I looked further into it to learn that traders had been making millions out of this way of thinking since at least the 1930s (See Larry Livingstone). My advice would be to start slowly (don’t risk too much until you have made a small) and develop a trend following system you are comfortable with. Trends are part of the DNA of a financial market, and if you can identify one early enough, you stand a fantastic chance of making money. The method is simple and once you know just a small about markets you will be able to see why it works. This graphic from this website clarifies why trend following works so well, and where you should be getting in. Excellent luck.

    Excellent day.

While there are MANY ways to make it in forex, i always believe in one.

It is the only one that is time tested and works in all conditions.

    Proper money management.

This is from someone who had 3 margin calls previously.

By having proper money managment, even if you make a mistake, you at most lose 2%. Furthermore, your account survives and you can trade another day with new learnings :)

    Trade safe.

If you are new and you want to read more on forex, i write at my blog for newbie traders. Cheers

    Hey there,

I am a forex trader and trading forex last 3-4 years now. Today the most fascinating pair is GBP/CHF as the GBP found vital resistance today it seems, as evidenced in a cross like GBP/CHF, where the two-wave correction appears complete after an attempt at the 55-day moving average. The sell-off back through the ancient high suggests that further weakness toward the rising line of consolidation is the path of least resistance for the moment.

I am trading forex from last 3 years. You can also trade successfully if you are forex educated. Forex education is very expensive but i know one place where you can get forex education with certification this is forextradingevo.com this is the most visited forex education website and going to launch in Nov, 2009. I give you one suggestion for better trading is that go for trading on the very early by getting data of 1 year currency pair.

Find the currency pair data on forextradingevo.com
