Senior Trip to Puerto Rico?

By Planet Wealth

My friends and I are considering taking our senior trip to San Juan, Puerto Rico. There are four of us, and we will share one hotel room. I’ve already got solid estimates on ticket prices as well as room prices. But I was wondering how much money we should bring as spending money.

We will be staying for six days, five nights. We do not plot on renting a car, so that won’t factor in to our spending money. Any estimates or help would be appreciated!

It depends what you want to do… If you’ll be going on tours/fishing charters/parasailing/etc., you need to look online and see how much that costs. If you’re going to be clubbing, drinks will cost you some coin that you otherwise wouldn’t spend. Food is very reasonable, especially if you find hole-in-the-wall places. I remember once I got a massive breakfast with two 151 and Cokes for five dollars. The attractions in the historical district are all very cheap or free, and the beaches are free of course. Puerto Rico is really an island that you can go to and spend as much or as small as you want.

    Food: $200

    Shopping: $800

    Soo total
    $1000 or more.

You also need to take some ‘back up’ money!
    Soo at least $1800!

Next time you guys need to go down South to Ponce (:
Its really nice down there and there is also monumental places like San Juan.

Well when me and my friend went to puerto Rico about a month ago we both took about 200 bucks and it was enough for about 1 week that we stayed in Ponce. The foods are pretty cheap.
But if your staying in San Juan im not sure.
The stuff there might be more expensive but idk (:

Some people dont know what theyre talking about. There are barely any all-inclusives in PR that are in the tourism areas. PR is fantastic and I reccomend you check out Rincon Beach Resort. Not all inclusive, and I dont recommend staying in the hotel during the day. Not for safety reasons, but there isnt much to do. In PR there is much to see and much to do. Have fun and delight in yourself!
