im a tenant renting through a real estate in queensland. i want to rent out a spare room to a student. im just wondering if its legal? thanks

Generally speaking yes, but it depends on the terms of your rental contract or lease. It the rental unit is for one person only the landlord could claim that you violated the rental agreement.
