This trade period is shaping up as the biggest and best trade period ever…Do you agree?
By Planet Wealth
I posted a question a few days ago, stating whether it could be. Remember this question.http://au.answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Am7VQyfehzolQS2ZOsDD6L3h5gt.;_ylv=3?qid=20091002163241AA4Df8n
As usual…Adelaide does nothing.

it certainly seems that way
it was probably always going to be considering next years compromised draft
the way i see it the clubs that are hanging on to their draft picks are looking at the long term picture ie the Dee’s they are surely going to have a super list in a few years whilst the lions will maybe have a few excellent years with the foreign legion they are building but they will not have the capacity to replace them when they start loosing older players
but saying that they are at least making this trade period fascinating

Looks excellent for my team so far. Jolly for a couple of draft picks… and I hope we can get hold of Luke Ball too.
Fevola nearly over to Brisbane, Lovett to St. Kilda… this trade period might not be the best for some teams, but it certainly is one of the largest.

I agree, it has been one of the most productive trade periods I have ever seen, especially on the first day!

I like trade week and I like all these huge trades. Last year was kind of a disappointment and this year has like 3 times more trades done compared to last year with one day to go.

Makes up for last years that’s for sure. There’s a few trades I wasn’t expecting at all (e.g. Williams to Essendon) but I’m pleased with this years trade week. We picked up Barry and Lake didn’t go but I’m just hoping the rumours about Everitt getting traded isn’t right, he’ll be a pretty excellent player in a few years.

there have been some huge trades. Hall to Bulldogs, Burgoyne to Hawthorn, Fevola to Brisbane, Bradshaw to Carlton, Williams to Essendon i reckon. huge names.
and dw, Adelaide don’t need to make any trades. i firmly believe that a fully fit adelaide side can beat any team in the competition, and we’ll prove this in season 2010

if the burgoyne deal and the fevola deal stand up. then the answer is a simple yes. and it has been fantastic keeping up with all of this.

This probably the best trade period ever, but it will be better if the Fev deal wins
