By Planet Wealth

So many girls who are walking skeletons! Mothers in Africa would trade their starving babies any day for these girls who have easily earned or inherited money and want attention, and sympathy!!Can you live gratefully ???

"Skeleton models," as you call them, are that way because if they aren’t they don’t get the modeling work. The fact that some of them seem to be rather full of themselves would probably still be right if they place on another 2-4 stone.

One reason behind this is because it’s MUCH simpler to make clothes fit "perfectly" on someone who has virtually no figure.

I suspect the second reason is that some men just can’t cope with a regular woman so they need them to be failures in some way – too slim, too stout, drunk, stupid or whatever.

By the way, I liked your comparison a lot. In fact a friend came up with a slogan about that:

Under a picture of a starving African woman trying to breast feed her baby:

    It isn’t beautifil in Africa
So why’s it so fantastic in Paris / New York / London?

am deffinately not one myself..but just like being overweight, is a matter of control..they are probably stressed and some on drugs and have a lot of pressure to fix one flaw and because we are all made differently, our bodies suffer…Some gain weight some lose it….I saw on TV a few wks ago how agencies are doing away w/ skeleton thin models because they are not a excellent image for girls and the public…Who (average woman) looks like this? …Most of us don’t…So women should like yourselves enough to talk to a Dr about normal weight for your height and work at it safely.

AND, why are you people are bother by this?
If they want to look that way then let them look that way, if they want to die then let them die.
Just don’t be like them, take excellent care your own bodies.

Well, I’m one of them. I always want to be skinny like those runway models.

It’s hard to stop myself from having thoughts of becoming a skeleton coz everytime I read a fashion/teens magazine, I would compare myself to the models..

Moreover, I am a girls’ school. Most of the girls(including me) are always complaining about their weight. We aim to be underweight instead of being the healthy weight range.

It’s unhealthy but I can’t stop myself from being conscious of my weight.

Your question is excellent but lacks inteligence. I challenge you to rephrase it.

Mothers in Africa? No basis! It is pathetic to attack the African continent so.

    MY ANSWER
Even though a lot of them are too thin for excellent health sake. It is what they earn their living from. They have the talent and feature which i believe if you and I had, you would have been there. Those ones need help and it is being handled at the moment by the fashion industry (do your research b4 coming here)

A lot of girls are dying inside for want of what they can not have. Dont worry too much about this. Hope this helps
