What are US-China relations like now? Are they "friendly" or still wary of each other?
By Planet Wealth
I’m Australia, and whilst we started of "Brittish", than post WWII were influenced more by America, who become a more vital trade partner, these days China seems to be the largest trade partner we have. So without ruining Australian-Chinese trade agreements and the massive mineral and mining agreements we have, i was wandering how our largest Allie (the USA) & our largest trade partner (CHINA) are getting along? Does the US still dislike or mistrust China and is there still a Military threat of some sorts, ie, do both countries still have "Nukes" pointed at each other, or do they now "trust" each other or simply "tolerate" each other.
Also how does the US feel about Australias mining exports to China and Uranium deals with Russia?

This relationship has gone from hostility to guarded friendliness to increased tension at the beginning of the new millennium. Recent years have seen the emergence of literature stressing China’s potential emergence as a national security threat to the USA.
