    You may want to find out more on quantitative trading, but if you accept the artificial intelligence concept, then u may want to go for neural networks and genetic algorithm.

    Anything from basic arithmetic to algebra and calculus.

    You don’t need very much advanced math. But if you had to pick some math classes to take in college, I’d look into statistics and probabilities. Like someone said above me, trading has a lot more to deal with psychology than people reckon.

    You don’t. Trading is more of an art than science. Of course, you do need to know how to add, multiply, divide, etc. Knowing how to calculate percentages is a must. If you can multiply numbers quickly in your head, that’s excellent. But you don’t need to learn advanced math. Know the basics. Trading has more to do with psychology and economics than math.
